Jin mikado

Jin Mikado is a Filipino actor, storyteller, and lawyer. Based in Metro Manila, he uses his passion for acting and storytelling to support human rights advocacies.

 

Jin graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Philosophy, and pursued law in Ateneo Law School.

 

In 2024, he discovered improv theater and acting, training under Third World Improv, Sightlines Actors’ Space, Philippine Educational Theater Association, and Star Magic School for the Creative & Performing Arts.

 

He has performed in various theater plays with UP Dulaang Laboratoryo and monologues with Ampalaya Monologues. He is a member of Afterclass Improv, a Filipino improv group trained by members of SPIT Manila, and a cast member of PAMANA Improv, a theatrical improv collective.

 

In 2025, he was cast in his first comedic role in a short film entitled Save the Date produced by YB Creatives. He also appeared as a Searcher in a reality dating show called Pusuan or Laruan by Marion Aunor.

Currently, Jin continues to hone his craft as an actor and improviser in theater, film, and online content while practicing as a human rights lawyer.
